Rakai Health Sciences Programme has over 30 years of experience in infectious disease research, with thousands of citations and high-impact work that has guided global public health policy and HIV treatment. But the emergence of new health threats, including COVID-19, and shifts in the research landscape made a robust institutional strategy essential. Belli Advisory was contracted to facilitate the development of RHSP's five-year strategic plan for 2022–2026, working with leadership and stakeholders to define guiding pillars, align resources to priorities, and ensure the programme remains relevant to the communities and populations it serves for the decade ahead.
