GIZ EnDev Uganda undertook a business development support initiative where 12 SMEs (6 in solar sector and 6 in the cooking sector) benefited through BDS services that included training, mentorship and coaching with in the periods of June to November 2021 and September 2021 to March 2022 respectively. Following the program completion of BDS support, EnDev contracted BIMUKA Capital and Finance Consult Ltd to assess the impact of the BDS support on the 12 SMEs in the period of 24th Oct 2022- 30th May 2023.

The consulting company undertook and an impact assessment on behalf of Energising Development Uganda to assess how well the BDS interventions fit and the impact in terms of sustainability of learnings for the companies that participated.
