We define SMEs as: – organizations that have been operating for at least four years, employing between 5- 50 staff, and have significant potential and ambition for growth. According to OCED, 2016b; SMEs are the biggest drivers of any country’s economy. We have found that SMEs; employ a formal workforce of positive and enthusiastic talent
that contributes to the country’s development through innovative solutions, aspire to make dreams realities therefore, learning and growth is considered a continuous process and impact beyond employment – the ripple effect on the local economy includes payments to suppliers, income for distributors, and taxes to local government.
